Here is how my year went down. All in all, pretty eventful.

January

Big milestone for our golden retriever puppy Lily. At nine months, she is finally allowed into carpeted areas of the house, like my office. No more accidents, yay!

February

My husband and I travel to Turks and Caicos. It has a well-deserved reputation for having one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

March

Daily, I take Lily on a morning and night walk, through rain, sleet, or snow. She reintroduces me to the beauty of sunrise.

April

We add two horses, Drifty (a chestnut gelding) and Rico (a black and white paint) to our herd. We were only planning to get one, but they had to come together. Though Rico is hard to catch, I actually like the challenge of working with him. I publish a new, horsey Regency romance, Daphne’s Dream.
